Let's Go Rafting!Herb and I just returned from an incredible 14-day white water rafting expedition down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon with a company called Arizona Rafting Adventures.

This trip was Herb’s idea, as I was a bit terrified by the size and challenge of the rapids through the canyon, especially after watching far too many YouTube videos (which I was told not to do) of boats running some of the larger and more challenging rapids.

While there were choices for a 6-Day Upper Canyon Trip and an 8-Day Lower Canyon Trip, my husband chose the 14-Day Full Canyon adventure. Why not? That way we wouldn’t have to hike up or down the Bright Angel Trail with all our stuff.

Despite some pretty scary rapids, I would have to admit that it was an incredible, life-changing adventure.
